The Toronto Blue Jays and Boston Red Sox continue their four game series today with the Red Sox taking the first two. These AL East rivals are looking to gain some ground on each other and so far, Boston has been up to the challenge. Coming into this series, the Red Sox took two of three from the Cleveland Guardians. They have come on strong lately after a slow start to open the season. As for the Blue Jays, they took two of three against the Seattle Mariners in their previous series. Toronto has one of the better rosters around baseball and will be looking to right the ship today.

What to Watch:
Today the biggest factor will be the starting pitching. Neither teams starter has been overly impressive to start the season so whichever can limit the damage the best, will likely give their team a better chance to win. Alek Manoah has had a slightly better season and maybe can be trusted a little more but he has been inconsistent throughout this new year so far. He was dominant last year but hasn’t found a way to replicate that success.
The Red Sox offense will need to get to him early so he doesn’t establish any sort of rhythm. If they can do that, it could be a nice day for the Red Sox and their fans. However, if he does settle in, the Blue Jays could be in line for a strong start.
