The Los Angeles Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals begin a four game series today. Los Angeles comes in after taking two of three games from the Minnesota Twins and they are looking to keep things going here. But for the Cardinals, after a horrible start to the season, they have slowly turned things around for the time being. It’s a long season and St. Louis has looked the part of late of what many believed they could be, World Series contenders, before the season started. These two teams just met each other a few weeks ago in Los Angeles where the Dodgers swept the three game series so surely the Cardinals will want to get some revenge on them, making this what should be a fun and entertaining matchup.

What to Watch:
Julio Urías takes the mound for the Dodgers in this one and the Los Angeles ace can be a force to deal with for teams. His stuff on the mound is electric and he has solidified himself as the true number one starter for this Dodgers team. The team needs him to have another strong outing for them to get the road win. If he can settle into a nice rhythm early on then it likely could be curtains for the Cardinals since Urías tends to give up most of his runs in the early stages of the game. Urías has the means to make quick work of St. Louis and one key for him in this matchup will be the need to keep his pitch count low as the game progresses throughout the day.
Los Angeles has positioned themselves as one of the best teams in the National League and they will be looking to keep things rolling with their ace starter on the mound today.
