After sweeping a four game series against the Detroit Tigers, the Baltimore Orioles continued their hot start to the season yesterday against the Kansas City Royals. They took game one of this three game series by a score of 11-7 and will be looking to keep things going today. It has been an incredible start to the season for a team that has seen some down years of late but this is a new roster that has new hope. Baltimore is one of the best teams around baseball and are showing it on a nightly basis. As for the Royals, they dropped three of four games to the Minnesota Twins prior to the game yesterday against Baltimore. While it hasn’t been pretty for the Royals this season, it’s still early and time is still on their side to possibly turn things around.

What to Watch:
The biggest player in this game today has to be Zack Greinke. The veteran has had an up and down season so far and the team needs him to stop the bleeding today. Greinke hasn’t lived up to his standards thus far this season and it has hurt his team in the games he has pitched him. The former ace still has some good stuff on the mound but has been prone to getting rocked later in his career.
If he can put together a strong game against this Orioles squad, then the Royals may be able to steal the game today.

I like the Orioles to take this game as Greinke continues to struggle, giving Baltimore another victory.
