What to watch
Alek Manoah takes the mound for the Blue Jays today after getting roughed up in his opening start. The Toronto ace will be looking for a better outing against a poor Kansas City team. Manoah was special for the Blue Jays last season, posting a 16-7 record and a 2.24 ERA. They will need him to be that player once again if they want to reach their high goals of a title this season.
As for the Royals, they have started the season off slowly. They have Zach Greinke on the mound and he continues to amaze. Even at his advanced age, he can still produce a quality outing for the team. If Greinke can limit the production against a tough Blue Jays lineup then the Royals may be able to squeak out the win. Pitch count will be the key here.

I think Greinke can do enough tonight to keep any damage from the Blue Jays to a minimum and the offense does the rest to get the Royals another victory.
