It wasn’t a pretty start to the season for Irvin and it doesn’t get any easier as he now faces the offensive powerhouse that the Yankees are. Despite this, New York is prone to striking out a lot so Irvin will need to make sure that he controls his pitch count and mixes things up to try and confuse the Yankee hitters.
