The New Jersey Devils head to Winnipeg for a matchup with the Jets tonight. Puck-drop between the two teams is all set for 7:00 p.m. EST.

The Devils find themselves with a chance to take over first place of the Metropolitan Division today if things go their way. They would need the Carolina Hurricanes to lose their game and for them to just win today against the Jets. It has been an awesome season for the Devils and one that has fans buzzing for the playoffs. New Jersey has been one of the more consistent teams all season long and they are going to be ready to make noise come playoff time.

The Jets come into this game barely holding onto a wild card spot in the Western Conference playoffs. Every game count and every point matters at this time as there are only a few games remaining to punch the playoff ticket. Winnipeg has gone 5-5 over their last 10 games overall and it has been a slow decline for this team. They were once towards the top of the Central Division but have fallen of late due to poor play. As they face the tough Devils at home today, they will need to bring their A-game since New Jersey can strike quick on offense.

I like the Devils to grab a big road win here as they are in a tight battle for first place in their division.
