We have one of the games best rivalries taking place again tonight as the Los Angeles Dodgers and San Francisco Giants continue their three game series. Los Angeles took the first game of the series last night by a score of 9-1 behind two Max Muncy home runs and a strong pitching performance from ace Julio Urias. The Giants will be looking to try and even up the series today and the Dodgers will be looking to push them down even farther in the standings. It should be a good one as it always is when these two teams meet up.
Date: Tuesday, April 11th, 2023
Time: 9:45 p.m. EST
Location: Oracle Park in San Francisco, California
Team Records: Los Angeles Dodgers (6-5), San Francisco Giants (4-6)
Projected Starting Pitchers:
Dustin May (1-0, 0.69 ERA) vs Alex Wood (0-0, 3.00 ERA)
What to Watch:
Last night saw Max Muncy break out of a slump and hit two home runs against the Giants. Muncy has hit well against San Francisco throughout his career and when asked about it yesterday after the game, he said that he couldn’t explain it but didn’t like playing in Oracle Park due to the cold and wind. It was an honest answer from Muncy and only adds more fuel to the fire of this rivalry.
Game Prediction: Los Angeles Dodgers 6, San Francisco Giants 2
Give me the Dodgers to take the second game of the series. Dustin May has been great so far and he continues that trend and gets the win for his team.
