The Arizona Coyotes and Seattle Kraken are all set for an Western Conference battle tonight between two of the best teams in the entire league. Puck-drop is scheduled for 10:30 p.m. EST from the Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle, Washington.

Arizona comes in having been eliminated from playoff contention but they do have a chance to play spoiler down the stretch. The defense has been bad for the Coyotes this season and it won’t get any easier for them as they face an explosive Seattle attack tonight. The Coyotes will need to rally around the defense tonight if they want any chance of grabbing the win here.

The Kraken enter this game with a chance to clinch their first ever postseason appearance if they win tonight. That has to be weighing on the team as they have been fighting all season long for a spot in the playoffs. Seattle has been one of the better stories of the season and it would be a nice touch for them to clinch at home in front of their incredible fanbase. The Kraken have averaged 3.53 goals per game and are allowing 3.10 goals against per game. If they can generate strong shot opportunities for themselves then they should be able to take advantage of the poor Arizona defense.
