The Winnipeg Jets head to the Honda Center in Orange County, California tonight for a matchup with the Anaheim Ducks. Puck-drop between the two Western Conference teams is set for 10:00 p.m. EST.

Winnipeg has gone 5-4-1 over their last 10 games, including winning their last time out. They are holding onto one of the wild card spots and know that every game matters at this point. Winnipeg needs to get both points tonight against a bad Ducks team so if they focus and don’t take Anaheim for granted, they should have no issues. The Ducks defense has been questionable all season so the Jets would be smart to attack them early and often.

Anaheim comes in having lost a few games in a row after a strong few weeks of hockey. It has been a struggle of a year for the Ducks this season but they are trying to keep things positive and get any wins they can. Many fans want this team to fully embrace the tank so they can position themselves to get the best possible draft pick but this is a proud organization and the players want to win. As they face the Jets tonight, they will need to try and keep up with the pace of Winnipeg.
