Atlanta Hawks vs Portland Trail Blazers
How To Watch:
Date: Monday, January 30th
Time: 10:00 pm EST
Venue: Moda Center, Portland, Oregon
Record: Hawks (25-25), Trail Blazers (23-26)
Things To Know:
-The Hawks are 6-4 over their last ten games
-The Blazers are 4-6 over their last ten contests.
-Atlanta has a 12-14 record on the road this season while Portland holds a 13-11 record at home.
Why The Hawks Can Win:
Atlanta has been decent of late, winning six of their last ten games overall. This is a team that can score the basketball and the Blazers have been on a decline as the season has gone on. Atlanta is averaging 116 points on 47.8 percent shooting and can make life difficult on the Blazers defense. They shoot 34.4 percent from beyond the three-point line and use their shooting to generate offense. Trae Young is a threat every-time he has the ball. He is having another strong season and will pressure the Blazers. His shot creation is extremely strong as well and gives them another aspect to pick apart defenses.
Why The Trail Blazers Can Win:
Portland needs to pick up the pace and what better time than now. As a team, they are averaging 113.8 points per game on 48.1 percent shooting and are allowing 113.5 points per game on 47.9 percent shooting. They still have Damian Lillard and he is a force to be dealt with. He can change the outcome of a game in an instant and forces defenses to change things up with the pressure he puts on them. They have some solid pieces around him and showed they can have success, earlier in the season. The Hawks are bad defensively so the Blazers should be able to exploit that.
