Robert Thomas has tallied 25 points this season, leading the Blues. Kyrou’s 23 points are second on the team. Vladimir Tarasenko (21), Brayden Schenn (21), and Pavel Buchnevich (20) round out the team’s top five. Jordan Binnington has been as mediocre as the Blues this season. The 29-year-old has a 10-11-1 record with a 3.23 GAA and an .894 SV% in 22 games.
Edmonton enters tonight winners of four of its last six games. The Oilers are 17-13-0 (34 points) and sit in fourth place in the Pacific Division. It’s more of the usual for Edmonton, with Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl leading the team and the league in many major statistical categories. McDavid’s 26 goals and 59 points lead both the Oilers and the NHL. Draisaitl’s 21 goals tie him for fourth in the NHL, while his 51 points rank second in the league. Stuart Skinner has taken over the number-one spot in net. Skinner is 9-7-0 with a 2.76 GAA and a .919 SV% in 17 games.
