QB Starts
Tyler Huntley – BAL
Week 13 stats: 187 YDS, 1 INT, 10 CAR, 41 YDS, 1 TD
Week 14 matchup: @ PIT
Tyler Huntley is a solid backup, and filled in well for Lamar Jackson when he was hurt last year. He offers similar mobility to Jackson, which could come in handy in a rivalry game against the Steelers this week. Last week. Huntley rushed ten times for 40 yards and a touchdown. Jackson owners in dire need of a quick replacement would not be crazy to go for Huntley. After all, he did manage a 39 point outburst last year against the Packers, and rushed for at least 40 yards in each of his final five appearances.
Tom Brady – TB
Week 13 stats: 281 YDS, 2 TD, 1 INT – 17.14 PPR points
Week 14 matchup: @ SF
Do not bet against the GOAT with a chip on his shoulder. Tom Brady has pulled rabbit after rabbit out his hat throughout his illustrious 20-year career – and he is not done yet. After staging another improbable comeback last week against the Saints, what will Brady do for his latest trick when he is back in the Bay Area?
Jared Goff – DET
Week 13 stats: 340 YDS, 2 TD – 21.6 PPR points
Week 14 matchup: vs MIN
Jared Goff has looked solid the past few weeks, and now that his offense is finally back to where it was in the early weeks of the season, we could see Goff continue to put up solid fantasy games. In a home matchup against the Vikings not-so dominant defense, look for Goff to produce once again.
QB Sits
BYE WEEKS: Justin Fields, Aaron Rodgers, Marcus Mariota, Taylor Heincke, Andy Dalton, Matt Ryan
Deshaun Watson – CLE
Week 13 stats: 131 YDS, 1 INT, 7 CAR, 21 YDS – 5.34 PPR points
Week 14 matchup: @ CIN
The Browns offense looked dreadful last week, carried by a dominant performance from their defense and special teams. Watson was as rusty as I predicted he would be. In a matchup with the surging Bengals, do not expect Watson to improve drastically. The Bengals are the fifth-best defense against opposing quarterbacks, and Watson will likely still be a bit uncomfortable gelling with his offense.
Daniel Jones – NYG
Week 13 stats: 200 YDS, 1 TD, 1 FUM, 12 CAR, 71 YDS – 17.1 PPR points
Week 14 matchup: vs PHI
Daniel Jones used a solid rushing game to salvage an otherwise ugly game last week, but do not bet on him to do the same against the high-flying Eagles. The Giants are reeling after a solid start to the season, and it is becoming clear to fans that they are not nearly as good as their early record indicated. While this season has been a solid step forward for a franchise that has been miserable for most of the last decade, they do not stack up well against the elite Eagles.
Mike White – NYJ
Week 13 stats: 369 YDS, 2 INT, 1 RUSH TD – 17.46 PPR points
Week 14 matchup: @ BUF
Mike White was pretty good against the Vikings, and could have benefitted from a few plays going his way. However, the Vikings defense is not very good, and this week he will face off with a much better Bills team that will be out for revenge after a shocking upset by the Jets in week 11. Do not count on the Mike White show to continue bearing fantasy relevance for much longer.
