Chicago Bulls vs Golden State Warriors Game Preview 12/2/2022

By

The Chicago Bulls head west for a matchup with the Golden State Warriors from Chase Center tonight. Tip-off between the two teams is scheduled for 10pm EST.

Chicago enters this contest with a record of 9-12 while the Warriors have a 11-11 record to their name. Both teams have struggled out of the gates but the Warriors have picked up steam of late. They have won six of their last ten games overall and are finally looking like themselves.

How Chicago can win: The Bulls go as Zach LaVine and DeMar DeRozan do. It’s that simple. If they both can have great games then Chicago will have a chance to take down the Warriors. This is a team that was supposed to make some noise this season and build on the success from last year but it just hasn’t materialized yet.

DeMar DeRozan is having another special season fro Chicago, averaging 26.3 points per game. He is on another level right now for this team and they will need another massive game from him tonight. Going against a team like the Warriors with Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and others is a big challenge for the Bulls.

How Golden State can win: The Warriors have come on strong after an awful start. The defending champions are rounding into form and all the early season talk of them having a hangover after the NBA Finals has silenced. Klay Thompson has picked up his game over the last ten games and that has helped them get back to winning. He struggled last time out but with a heavy shooting player, it can happen.

If the Warriors can disrupt the Bulls passing lanes and create turnovers, they can kill them in transition. Golden State has prided themselves on defense for much of their championship runs so getting back to the basics will help, especially tonight.

Prediction: Golden State Warriors 120, Chicago Bulls 106

Give me the Warriors here to defend home court. I can’t trust the Bulls right now so I lean Golden State. Look for Curry to have a big night against Chicago here.
