Anaheim Ducks vs Winnipeg Jets Game Preview 12/4/2022

By

We have a Western Conference battle between the Anaheim Ducks and Winnipeg Jets this afternoon from the MTS Centre in Winnipeg. The game is scheduled for puck-drop at 3pm EST.

The Jets enter this contest sitting towards the top of the Central Division. They have had a really strong start to the year behind the play of their defense. It has held opponents in check and made life tough on them. Goalie Connor Hellebuyck has been having another good season and will look to continue that as the year goes on. Winnipeg has of the best fans around the NHL so it’s always exciting to play in front of their home fans.

As for the Ducks, it has gone completely sideways for them. This rebuilding team was thought to possibly start growing but they have done the complete opposite. Anaheim is poor both on offense and defense and they sit at the bottom of the league in the standings. It has been a rough year for the Ducks and their fans but hope remains that they can turn things around. They have a few young players who can light things up but the rest of the roster needs some work.

Going up against the Jets today will be extremely challenging for this lowly Ducks team and they will likely be out of the game after the first period based on how their season has gone.

Prediction: Winnipeg Jets 6, Anaheim Ducks 2

Winnipeg should have no trouble scoring on the Ducks defense. I see this being a high scoring game for them as they grab another win here.
