Vegas continues its Northeastern swing tonight in Toronto. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 EST.

The Golden Knights are off to a blazing 11-2-0 start. Vegas brings a seven-game winning streak into tonight’s game. Johnathan Marchessault leads the Knights in goals with six in the team’s first 13 games. Vegas’ gamble on center Jack Eichel is paying off so far in his first full season in the desert. Eichel leads the Golden Knights in points with 14, while six other skaters have tallied 10 points. Vegas’ goaltending tandem of Logan Thompson and Adin Hill have been fantastic this season. Thompson has a 2.01 goals against average and a .934 save percentage in eight games. Hill is a perfect 5-0-0 with a 2.17 GAA and a .935 SV%.

The Maple Leafs have won three straight entering tonight’s contest. Toronto has rebounded after a rough trip out West and look to avenge its October 24 loss in Vegas. John Tavares has been solid this season and leads the Leafs with eight goals. The Toronto captain also leads the team in points with 15. Mitch Marner, Auston Matthews and William Nylander are also in double-digit points with 14, 13 and 13 respectively. Both Matt Murray and Ilya Samsonov remain sidelined with injury which means Toronto has turned to Erik Kallgren in net. The 26-year-old is 1-1-2 with a 2.76 GAA and .904 SV% in five games this season.

While the Leafs won both matchups last season, the Golden Knights won the only matchup so far this season. The projected starting goaltenders tonight are Thompson for Vegas and Kallgren for Toronto.
