Utah Jazz @ Golden State Warriors Game Preview 11/25/2022

The Utah Jazz travel to San Francisco to take on the Golden State Warriors tonight from the Chase Center. Tip-off is scheduled to take place at 10pm EST.

Utah comes into this matchup with a 12-8 record on the season while the Warriors own a 9-10 record so far in the early year. It has been a tale of two seasons for these franchises as nobody expected the Jazz to be this good and not many expected the Warriors to struggle like they have.

Golden State is 6-4 in their last 10 games while the Jazz have split them 5-5. This game should be a fun, back and forth contest with two of the better offenses in the league going at it.

How Utah can win: The key for the Jazz in this game will be trying to slow down Steph Curry. It’s much easier said than done but Curry is one of the best in the league at taking over games. If he gets hot, it’s almost certainly over for the opposing defense.

Utah will need to make sure to fight over screens and disrupt passing lanes against this Warriors team who uses excellent ball movement and three-point shooting to beat down opponents.

How Golden State can win: Golden State needs to just play their game to be honest. They struggled out of the gates for whatever reason but have since seemed to come back to life. They are the defending champions for a reason and will need to show it tonight against this young, scrappy Utah squad.

Defense has been an issue for Golden State so far this year so if they focus on that end of the floor tonight, it could be curtains. Winning the turnover battle will also be key for the Warriors as they are prone to getting careless with the ball at times.

Prediction: Golden State 119, Utah Jazz 110

I think the Warriors come out on top in this matchup tonight. They seem like the better team, despite the records and being in Chase Center will give them the boost that they need to win.
