The Sacramento Kings travel across the country to Atlanta to face the Hawks at 7:30 p.m. EST in State Farm Arena.

The Kings come into this game on a seven game win streak and absolutely dominating on offense. They average 128.8 points per game in that span, including a game scoring 153 points in regulation time. Throughout this heater the Kings have been on, they have been able to control teams from start to finish, playing four full quarters of basketball. 

The Hawks have a pretty good record of 10-7, but have stumbled to get there. Sometimes we see a Hawks team that can contend for a championship, and then we see a Hawks team that we wonder why they are even in the playoff picture. This team has no consistency, which can hurt them in the long run. Trae Young and Dejounte Murray have been the guard duo Hawks fans adore. The team is effective, but it isn’t consistent enough to trust.  

How Sacramento Can Win:

The Kings need to keep doing what they have been doing and continuing what works. Often, when teams are on deep win streaks, they get too comfortable and start to loosen up on teams. Making sure they are playing on top of their toes and not letting up will be how they can secure the win. The Kings have a complete starting lineup that could contend for a championship as they mesh well as role and depth pieces start to step up more. 

How Atlanta Can Win:

The Hawks can win if they can come together as a team, cue in on the little things, and fix them immediately. Their defensive consistency has been a huge issue, with their offense falling flat every few games as well. This is something that needs to be repaired, especially ahead of the playoffs because as of right now, the Hawks will not last in a seven game series. Starting to fix that today would be key, and it would also help them get the win. Elevating their three-point game as well will give them the extra leverage to make up for any mistakes they make. 

Prediction: Atlanta Hawks 113, Sacramento Kings 106

Both of these teams are much better at home than they are away, and I think the home team continues to win tonight with the Atlanta Hawks.
