The Senators conclude its Florida swing tonight in Tampa Bay against the Lightning. Puck drop is scheduled for 7:08 EST.

Ottawa is off to a 4-4-0 start and are in last in the Atlantic and 15th in a very competitive Eastern Conference. The Senators are led in scoring by Brady Tkachuk and Shane Pinto with six goals each in their first eight games. Tkachuk is also tied for the team lead in points with Drake Batherson. Both players have tallied 11 points thus far. Goaltenders Magnus Hellberg and Anton Forsberg have both been solid this season and have kept Ottawa in many of its first eight contests. The Sens got some good news today as goaltender Cam Talbot could make his return to net on Saturday against Philadelphia. 

Tampa Bay is off to a 5-4-0 start and sit in fourth place in the Atlantic Division. The Lightning are winners of four of its last five games. Steven Stamkos’ hot start has keeps the Lightning captain in the team lead with seven goals. Nikita Kucherov is in his usual spot atop Lightning offense with 12 points in his first nine games. Bell-cow goaltender Andrei Vasilevskiy is off to an average start notching a 3-3-0 record with a 2.87 goals against average and .910 save percentage. Defenseman Victor Hedman is being listed as a game-time decision. 

Tampa Bay took three of four games and six of eight points from the Senators last season. The Lightning won both games in Florida as well. The expected starting goaltender matchups is Forsberg for Ottawa and Vasilevskiy for Tampa Bay.
