Passing Leader: Lamar Jackson
The Ravens are coming into Week 11 as the best team in the AFC North, but to say there spot is safe would be blasphemous. The Bengals are right behind them at 5-4, threatening the division leaders by the week. At 3-7, the Carolina Panthers are not a threat to slowing down the dynamic Ravens offense, who are coming off some rest, which should allow former MVP and elite quarterback Lamar Jackson to come out and have a huge week. Mid-season matchups like this are a blessing for teams in the playoff race, and I expect the purple, black, and gold to have some fun. 300 passing yards, two passing touchdowns, and a rushing touchdown seem just right for LJ.
Rushing Leader: Saquon Barkley
When you name the elite rushers of the 2022 season, Saquon Barkley is one of the first names you should think of. In a contract year, where Barkley needed to show not only his team, but the world, that he’s still one of the best in the game, he’s truly been able to take another stride. The Lions aren’t stopping him, and Barkley fantasy owners should be ecstatic. Expect 130 yards and a touchdown for the Penn State product.
Receiving Leader: Justin Jefferson
Justin Jefferson is u-n-b-e-l-i-e-v-a-b-l-e. Last week, he carried his team to a win against the Superbowl contending Bills, securing multiple clutch plays, and coming down with one of the greatest catches ever. He is too good at the game of football for a 23 year old, and I don’t think there’s more than a couple defensive backs that can even neutralize him. Expect a player on a hot streak to stay hot, with nine catches, 120 yards, and a touchdown.
Sacks Leader: Justin Houston
One of the NFL’s sack leaders, alongside his quarterback, will enjoy a favorable matchup that should only shoot his stock higher up. Justin Houston is currently tied for 4th place in the league at 8.5 sacks, and the Carolina Panthers don’t have an answer for the pass rusher. Houston should get two sacks on Sunday.
