The Islanders travel to St. Louis to take on the Blues. Puck drop is scheduled for 8:08 p.m. EST.

The Islanders are off to a 6-4-0 start and have won three straight games. New York is led in scoring by Andres Lee with five goals in the team’s first 10 games. The Isles have three skaters with double-digit points on the season. Brock Nelson leads the team with 11 points while Lee and Mathew Barzal have tallied 10 each. Ilya Sorokin has been the goaltender of choice thus far for the Islanders as he’s notched a 4-3-0 record with a 2.04 goals against average and a .935 save percentage. Matt Martin is expected to return tonight after he missed Tuesday’s game on paternity leave.

The Blues have struggled out of the gate at 3-5-0. After starting 3-0-0, St. Louis has lost five straight contests. The Blues only have four players with multiple goals so far this season. Justin Faulk, Vladimir Tarasenko and Jordan Kyrou are all tied for the team lead with three goals each. Faulk and Brayden Schenn are tied for the team lead in points with nine each. Jordan Binnington has had a below average start to his season as he is 3-3-0 with a 3.28 GAA and an .882 SV%. Forward Brandon Sadd (upper body) will not play tonight, missing his sixth consecutive game.

These teams split two matchups last season with the home team winning both games. Sorokin is expected to get the start for New York, while Binnington will be between the pipes for St. Louis.
