The Predators continue its west coast swing in Seattle against the Kraken. Puck drop is scheduled for 10:08 p.m. EST.

Nashville has been up and down to start the season. After winning its first two games overseas, the Preds went on a massive losing skid upon returning to North America. Since then, Nashville has been able to even things out, but are still struggling. Nino Niederreiter leads the Predators in goals with six, while Filip Forsberg leads the team with 12 points. Juuse Saros is still Nashville’s number one goaltender. Saros is 3-5-1 with a 3.12 goals against average and a .904 save percentage.

Seattle is exceeding expectations early on with a 7-4-2 record. The Kraken also bring a four-game winning streak into tonight’s game. Jaden Schwartz, Matty Beniers and Jared McCann are all tied for the team lead in goals with five each. Schwart and Andre Burakovsky are tied for the Kraken lead in points with 10. Martin Jones has emerged as Seattle’s number one goaltender with a 6-3-1 record. Jones has posted a 2.61 GAA and a .901 SV% in 10 games this season. On the injury front, McCann is listed as a game-time decision with a lower-body injury.

The Predators and Kraken met three times last season where Seattle took two of three games and four of six possible points. Tonight’s expected goaltenders are Saros for Nashville and Jones for Seattle.
