The Los Angeles Clippers and Utah Jazz are set to square off tonight for another matchup from the Vivent Smart Home Arena. Tip-off is scheduled for 9pm EST.
Los Angeles enters this game with a record of 13-9, having won their last two games. They had a comeback win last night against the Portland Trail Blazers and will be looking to keep their winning streak alive.
As for Utah, they have fallen off a bit after their early season success. They have lost five straight games and now have a record of 12-11. They are 2-8 over their last ten games overall and seem to be falling quickly.
How Los Angeles can win: The Clippers are just such a gritty team. Even with all their injuries, they still find ways to win. That goes back to the awesome coaching job done by Tyronn Lue and his staff. They have players who fight for each other and you can see it when they play.
Forward Norman Powell has been great for them this season, averaging 14.8 points a game. He helped lead them to a come from behind win last night, dropping 32 points in the win. If he can have another strong game, it could mean good things for Los Angeles.
How Utah can win: Utah just needs to get back to what allowed them to be successful in the first place. However, when you are a team that was designed to tank, it could be difficult. The Jazz have fallen off heavily since their early hot start but still sit in line for a playoff spot as of right now.
