-The win over Cincinnati this weekend cements the programs first-ever American Athletic Conference football championship game appearance. It’s been a hell of a season for Tulane and they now have a chance to make it even better.

16. Oregon Ducks

Oregon missed their chance to play USC in the Pac-12 title game. After a strong start to the year, it’s a bitter end for the Ducks.

15. Oregon State Beavers
14. Florida State Seminoles
13. LSU Tigers

LSU went into Saturday with an outside chance at making the playoffs. Those hopes were quickly wiped out as the Tigers got beaten handily by Texas A&M. LSU now feels like a sitting duck as they head into championship weekend against Georgia.

12. Kansas State Wildcats

Kanas State held on throughout the season and now have a chance to win the Big-12. They will be matched up with the undefeated TCU Horned Frogs and will have their shot at spoiling any hope for TCU to make the College Football Playoff.

10. Utah Utes
9. Washington Huskies
8. Penn State Nittany Lions
7. Tennessee Volunteers
6. Alabama Crimson Tide
5. Ohio State

Ohio State got shell shocked this weekend by Michigan on their home field. It was a stunning game and one that Buckeye fans won’t soon forget. They can still reach the playoff but will need some help from the other teams.

4. USC Trojans

With a win in the Pac-12 title game, USC will be heading to the College Football Playoff for the first time in program history. Lincoln Riley and Caleb Williams have turned things around for Southern Cal quicker than some expected and Williams may be holding up the Heisman Trophy when things are all said and done.

3. TCU Horned Frogs

The beat rolls on for TCU. They beat Iowa State by a score of 62-14. The Horned Frogs have seemingly wrapped up a playoff berth no matter what happens in the Big 12 title game, where they will take on Kansas State.

2. Michigan Wolverines

The Wolverines emerged from “The Game” victorious and the game wasn’t very close. Harbaugh’s team demonstrated tremendous discipline and physicality as they ran all over the Buckeyes. They will likely be headed to the College Football Playoff for the second straight season.
