Brooklyn Nets @ Indiana Pacers Game Preview 11/25/2022

The Brooklyn Nets travel to Indiana for a matchup with the Pacers tonight in an Eastern Conference showdown. Tip-off is scheduled for 8pm EST from the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Nets enter this game with a record of 9-10 and currently sit in the 10th spot of the Eastern Conference standings. Indiana comes in at 10-7 and are currently sitting in the fifth spot in the standings.

The Pacers have been one of the surprises of the year so far and the team is 7-3 over the last ten games. Brooklyn has won six of their last ten games and are finally looking like the team that many thought they would be.

How Brooklyn can win: The Nets are led by Kevin Durant and he has been his elite self thus far this season. Durant is averaging 28.8 points and 6.5 rebounds per game this season. It has been a really great start to the year and he has been a major reason why the Nets were holding their own during some off the court issues.

The issue for the Nets has been on the defensive side of the ball. They can score with the best of them but the defense has been average. They allow 111.6 points on average to opponents and will need to clamp down against an explosive Pacers offense. They’ll need to win the little battles within the game if they want to take down Indiana on the road.

How Indiana can win: Indiana is led by guard Tyrese Haliburton as he has averaged 19.8 points and 10.9 per game. He has been on a tear lately with his assists and will look to keep that up against the Nets tonight. They also have Myles Turner, who has been playing extremely well. He has averaged 18.6 points and 8.4 rebounds per game for the team.

Going up against the Nets with star players on the roster, the Pacers will need to make sure they take advantage of their opportunities. They don’t have a so called star player but rather a collective of really good players put together.

Prediction: Indiana Pacers 115, Brooklyn Nets 112

I think the Pacers do just enough to take the victory. They have been playing really well of late and I expect that to continue tonight against the Nets at home tonight.
