The Kings have responded well after dropping its first two games of the season. LA put up seven and five in its last two games to start its road trip. Adrian Kempe leads the Kings in goals so far this season with four, while he is tied with Anze Kopitar with six points. This will be game three of a five game road trip for the Kings. Fatigue may not be a factor yet but could be soon for the Kings on the long road trip.
The Predators opened the season in Czechia by sweeping the Sharks. Nashville then returned to the States and was swept in a home-and-home series with Dallas. Nino Niederreiter is the only Predator with more than one goal this season as he has notched four goals in four games. Eeli Tolvanen, Ryan Johansen and Mikael Granlund all have three points for Nashville so far.
Nashville took two of three games and four of six points from the Kings last season. The Preds won the only game of the three in Nashville last season. The projected goaltenders for tonight’s game are Cal Petersen for LA and Juuse Saros for Nashville.
