College Football Week Three Game Picks

#1 Georgia @ South Carolina

The defending champions look the part once again. They are dominant on both sides of the ball yet again and will be a tough test for South Carolina. The Gamecocks may be able to keep it close for a half but then the Bulldogs take over. Georgia has allowed three points in two games thus far this season. Give me Georgia to handle South Carolina in this matchup.

Mississippi State @ LSU

Brian Kelly and his team responded to their opening week loss in a big way. Forcing turnovers and getting out to a huge lead early helped LSU beat Southern University. They now face Mississippi in the first SEC game of the season. It’ll be a good test for Kelly to see if he really can coach in this tough conference. Death Valley is always a tough place for opposing teams to come into so being at home is a true advantage for the Tigers. Give me LSU to grab a big win and get off to a good start in conference play.

California @ Notre Dame

It can’t get much worse for Marcus Freeman and the Fighting Irish. Losing last week against Marshall was a low point and they seem to only be able to go up from here. Going up against Cal, I see Notre Dame bouncing back. Give me the Irish to get their first win of the season and Freeman, his first win as a head coach.

Kansas @ Houston

It seems like it is a new era for Kansas football in the sense that they are actually winning football games. This team has looked good through two weeks and wants to continue to build on that success. Gping to play Houston could be a tough matchup for them but I’m rolling with the Jayhawks to keep this up! This team could be one of the stories of the season if they continue playing well.

Fresno State @ #7 USC

Is USC back to being a power in college football? Offensively they look the part but defensively, it seems a little iffy. They’ll need to out it all together if they want to reach their higher goals for this season but for this week against the Bulldogs, I like the Trojans to pull out the victory.
