What to watch for?

Jonathan India is back!

For the next few games all eyes will be on Jonathan India. India was finally activated off the injured list while the Reds were in Arizona, in those two games he collected two hits and two RBIs. He is clearly still knocking some rust off but it is no secret how important he is to this ball club

The never ending story of left handed pitching

The Reds have struggled mightily against left handed pitching over the last few years and this year is no different. The difference this year is the fact they have shown they can hit it but they can not do it consistently. The Reds have hit a few lefties really well against some, while being embarrassed by the others. There seems to be no inbetween when it comes to hitting lefties so we will have to wait and see which Reds team we get in the series opener.

Keys to a series win

Whenever you play against the Brewers, you know that their starting pitching has the ability to take over a game. Knowing this, it is extremely important that your pitching responds to the challenge. Hunter Greene and Graham Ashcraft have been dominant of late so we could be in store for some great pitching performances.
Series Prediction

This was one of my harder predictions to date and I think I have settled on the Brewers winning the series two games to one. The Reds have already taken a series from them this year and I will not be shocked if it happens again. The reason I lean the Brewers comes down to the drastic difference in the team’s bullpens. The Reds have one of the worst while the Brewers are known for having one of the best. If the Reds bullpen can perform then we will be having a different conversation soon.
