So far through the first four games of this series, it has been pretty evenly matched. The two teams have given their all and we now have a best of three series goimg forward. Both the Celtics and Warriors have shown their strengths and weaknesses and it has been a pretty good series thus far. As the series now shifts back over to San Francisco for this pivotal game five, the two teams know what is at stake. The stars on the rosters will need to step up and help their team earn a big victory. The two teams aren’t afraid to go at one another, which also has helped make this series more interesting. They have both taken punches from each other and punched right back. Can Golden State hold serve and defend home court? Or will Boston take another game on the road in this series?

How Boston can win: Heading into this game, the Celtics know what it takes to win a game on the road against the Warriors. It isn’t easy to win within the Chase Center, but the Celtics have already stolen a game. They will need to play effective defense and keep up the scoring with the Warriors if they want to win the game tonight. Making sure that Steph Curry isn’t able to get under screens will be a major key for the Celtics here because this is an easy way that the Warriors generate offense. They will need to communicate and fight off screens if they want any chance of winning this game.

How Golden State can win: Golden State picked up a huge victory in game four to tie up the series. They now have home court advantage back and will look to hold serve. They need to make sure to play strong defense as well and hope they can contain the Celtics three-point shooting. Golden State is extremely dominant in the third quarter of games and has been all season long. If they can have a lead going into halftime, they should feel confident about the game. However, they can’t loss focus and can’t take their opponents for granted again. The Warriors made that mistake in game one and it cost them. If Curry and players like Klay Thompson can step up, it could create a strong chance for the Warriors to take the game.

The Spread Via FanDuel:

Moneyline: BOS: (+134) | GSW: (-158)
Spread: BOS: +3.5 (-108) | GSW: -3.5 (-112)

Final Prediction: Golden State Warriors 106 Boston Celtics 100

-Give me the home team to hold serve tonight. The Warriors are a very good team at home and for the first time in this series, they take control of it. I like Golden State to come out on top here.
