Top 10 Remaining NFL Free Agents

The main part of the NFL free agency frenzy is over and the NFL Draft filled many teams’ needs. There are still quality free agents out there that teams should be looking to sign, and these are the top players left:

Odell Beckham Jr.

There is no denying that once Odell Beckham Jr. got to the Los Angeles Rams, he made an instant impact and was a huge factor in helping them get to the Super Bowl. In just eight regular-season games with the Rams, Beckham accumulated 305 yards and five touchdowns over 27 receptions. He then went on to also have 23 receptions for 340 yards and three more touchdowns in the playoffs. Beckham will be coming off an ACL injury he suffered in the Super Bowl, but if a team needs a wide receiver to make an impact down the stretch Beckham should be the top choice.

James Bradberry

A new addition to the free agent market after being released by the New York Giants due to cap limitations is James Bradberry. It is not every day a cornerback like Bradberry enters free agency. In 2021 he showed he is still one of the best cornerbacks in the league totaling 47 tackles, four interceptions, and had 17 passes defended. If a team is in need of a cornerback, Bradberry is very capable of being an impact player that is dependable to line up against any receiver. A team will have to pay a high price for him, but his talent is worth it.

Akiem Hicks

With Akiem Hicks also comes the injury concern factor. That doesn’t take away from the fact that Hicks is still one of the better interior defensive line players left on the free agency market. In the nine games he played in 2021 he had 25 tackles and 3.5 sacks. If a team has a younger defensive line Hicks would be a great guy to sign to be a role model in the locker room and be a rotational guy on the field.

Trey Flowers

Like Hicks, Trey Flowers is another guy who has struggled to stay on the field but would provide a great veteran presence to the edge group on a team. Over his career between the New England Patriots and Detroit Lions, he has 261 tackles, 31.5 sacks, and 10 forced fumbles. He also comes with the experience of winning two Super Bowls with the Patriots and would be able to be productive on a rotational front while bringing a winning culture mindset.

Jarvis Landry

Jarvis Landry at 29 years old is still a very capable starting wide receiver in the NFL. He is coming off a career-low 570-yard receiving season but that was on a 2021 Cleveland Browns team that couldn’t seem to find much production on offense. Landry only dropped two passes last year out of 87 targets and would be a great addition to any offense looking to add another vertical threat.
