After taking down the Phoenix Suns, many expected the Dallas Mavericks to give the Golden State Warriors a run for their money. However, this hasn’t been the case and Golden State now finds themselves just one win away from a trip to another NBA Finals. The Warriors have outmatched the Mavericks in every sense of the word this series, even when the Mavericks have played really well. Luka Doncic is doing all that he can to help his team but the roster around him can only do so much and the Warriors have done a good job limiting the damage. Going into game four tonight, it’s desperation time for the Mavericks and it remains to be seen if they can beat the Warriors. Game four should be intriguing to see how Dallas responds and whether or not the Warriors can put an end to their season. Can Golden State advance to the NBA Finals? Or will Doncic and the Mavericks show some fight and extend the series?
How Golden State can win: There really isn’t much else the Warriors need to do in order to win this series other than not get ahead of themselves. The final game is always the hardest to win in a series and they know better than most that Dallas will throw everything they have at them tonight. Golden State is a very experienced team and will likely be amped up to close this series out tonight. They don’t want to give the Mavericks any sense of confidence so expect to see a focused effort from Golden State. If they move the ball effectively and hit their shots as they have all series, they should be in good shape. However, turnovers could hurt them or just coming in unfocused since they are up three games to none.
How Dallas can win: Reggie Bullock and Maxi Kleber aren’t likely to go 0-15 combined from the field again so that has to grant some sense of hope in this Dallas team. This has been a gritty team all season long and they have shown when their backs are against the wall, they normally come out and can win a game. If they want to keep their season alive, they’ll really need to pick it up a notch. Doncic can only do so much for this team, and he needs some help. They showed that they could support their star player last series against the Suns, but the Warriors have done a nice job on the other players. Even in game two, when the Mavericks role players did step up, Golden State still won. It’s a bad matchup for Dallas but one they may be able to exploit to extend this series back to San Francisco.

Spread: GSW: +1 (-110) | DAL: -1 (-110)
Final Prediction: Dallas Mavericks 115 Golden State Warriors 110
-The Mavericks are going to fight and try to keep their season alive, and I think they extend it at least one more game. This is a prideful team, and they should be able to get at least one game in this series. I like the Mavericks to bounce back and send this series back to the Bay Area.
