As the NHL and NBA playoffs roll on along with the MLB regular season getting into full swing, a lot of opportunities have raised in the betting landscape when it comes to future bets.

So, I have examined two bets from both playoffs and one MLB bet that I love that we can root for as the season rolls on.

*Odds are of May 9, 2022*

NBA Playoffs:

Phoenix Suns to Win the NBA Finals (+330) (1u)

Despite being in a 2-2 tie with Luka Doncic and the surging Dallas Mavericks, this is the best odds the Suns have had to win the title in quite some time. This team is still the best and most complete team in the league, and it will not take them long to find their groove, especially at home for game five. The team has playoff experience from making the Finals a season before, and I am more than comfortable making a bet like this before a pivotal game five in the Western Conference semifinals.

Golden State Warriors to Win the NBA Finals (+240) (1u)

It might sound contradictory, but I firmly believe the only two teams that can win this title come out of the West. They’ll be playing each other in the semifinals if they can both get past their current opponents in round two, and I truly believe the winner wins the whole thing. The East has shown glimpses of elite basketball throughout the playoffs in the four teams that remain, but all the remaining teams have issues that the Warriors and Suns don’t.

NHL Playoffs:

Pittsburgh Penguins to Win the Eastern Conference (+850) (1u)

These are incredibly great odds for the situation that the Penguins currently find themselves in. Pittsburgh looks in control of the series against the Rangers, in which they have put up 23 goals in four games (including 14 in the last two) against the probable Vezina winner Igor Shesterkin. The best teams remaining in the East are all squared away at two games apiece in their series in which they have lacked the same firepower and fluidness they had shown in the regular season. Taking the Penguins here comes with incredible value that you won’t be able to find with any other team.

Colorado Avalanche to Win the Western Conference (+110)

This team is turning into one of the most dangerous and lethal playoff teams we have seen in quite a long time. Injuries won’t stop them…elite goaltending…elite depth scoring…they have it all. On top of a weaker-than-usual Western Conference, the Avalanche are in the driver’s seat to make it to the Stanley Cup Finals this season.

Philadelphia Phillies to Win the World Series (+2800) (0.5u)

This is probably the lowest you’re going to get the Phillies this season, which is the perfect reason why to buy in now. Supplementing the outfield was the Phils’ biggest priority during the offseason. Philadelphia did just that by signing a couple of big bats in Nick Castellanos and Kyle Schwarber. So far, the strategy has worked. Combined with reigning NL MVP Bryce Harper, the Phillies’ offense ranks third in MLB in XBA. They also feature elite pitching with Aaron Nola still in the fold as well as ace Zack Wheeler, and promising young pieces that look to improve. Philadelphia is a great bet.
