The Kings have a 13-16 record at home while the Thunder have a road record of 8-18. Interestingly despite their bad record, the Thunder are the number one team in basketball against the spread. They have a 32-17-2 record ATS versus the Kings who have a 24-40 record ATS. 

The Thunder’s active leading scorer is Lou Dort who’s averaging 16.8 points per game on 40.6% from the field. Josh Giddey has been an All-Rookie first team performer averaging 11.8 points per game which ranks 3rd on the team a team-leading 6.1 assists per game. Giddey also leads the team in rebounding with 7.6 per game. 

Sacramento has seven players who average double figures in the points category. The leader of which is De’Aaron Fox averaging 21 points per game on 45.8% shooting. Sophomore Tyrese Haliburton is leading the team in assists per game with 7.2. Richaun Holmes, Buddy Hield, and Harrison Barnes have also all been major contributors for the Kings.

This is the third time these teams have played each other this season. The first game was played on Nov. 12 and was a 105-103 win for the Thunder. The King got revenge in the second matchup with a 117-111 win for the Kings on Dec. 28. Tonight will be the rubber match between the two teams. 

Impact Players: For the Thunder, an underrated rookie by the name of Tre Mann has made a name for himself lately. Two games ago he put up 29 points on only 14 shots. Isiah Roby has knocked down 50% of his threes on two attempts per game. OKC also has seven players who shoot 80% or above from the free-throw line. 

The Kings have many impact players in many different areas. Tyrese Haliburton has had a breakout second season. He’s averaging 14 points and seven assists a night on 45% from the field and 41% from three. Richaun Holmes is averaging eight rebounds per game and is also fifth on the team in scoring and 1st in blocks. 

Last 10 games: The Kings are 2-8 in their last 10 games. They have an ORTG of 109 which ranks 21st in the NBA and a 114.4 DRTG which ranks 29th. The Thunder are 3-7 with a three-game win streak in their last 10 games. In that span, their ORTG is the worst in the NBA at 102 and their DRTG is ninth in the NBA at 108.
