The Golden State Warriors will compete against the Oklahoma City Thunder on the road at 8:00 p.m. EST in Oklahoma City. The Warriors check into this contest with a 40-13 record and are two-and-a-half games behind the Phoenix Suns for the top spot in the Western Conference.

Oklahoma City heads into this home game with a 17-35 overall record, as they sit in 14th place in the West. They lost to the Sacramento Kings, 113-103, on Saturday in Sacramento, Calif. The Thunder were on a three-game winning streak prior to Saturday’s shortcoming to the Kings.

How The Golden State Warriors Can Win:

The Warriors are playing as well this season as they did when they were in five consecutive NBA Finals. Point guard Stephen Curry is averaging 25.9 points per game this season and he is orchestrating an incredible run for his team. Look for Curry to improve upon his 20-point performance in the Warriors’ last game against the Kings on Thursday. To make their mark, the Warriors will need Andrew Wiggins and Klay Thompson to play at a high level without Draymond Green.

How The Oklahoma City Thunder Can Win:

As Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is recovering for the next few weeks with a sprained ankle, the Thunder are trying to see what they have with their young roster. Darius Bazley and Josh Giddey are among the young players who are stepping up in Gilgeous-Alexander’s absence. Bazley scored 18 points and grabbed seven rebounds against the Kings, while Giddey finished with 24 points, eight assists, and four rebounds. The Thunder will need Giddey and Bazley to make plays and guide the Thunder to an upset win.
