(Champion) Ryan Bader (28-7) vs (Interim Champion) Valentin Moldavsky (11-1)

Following two losses in his last three down at Light Heavyweight, Ryan Bader comes back up to defend his Heavyweight belt in front of a hometown Arizona crowd this Saturday at Bellator 273. Ukrainian Valentin Moldavsky has been keeping Bader’s Heavyweight belt warm for him since defeating Timothy Johnson for the Interim Heavyweight belt in June of 2021. While Bader was once pound for pound King of Bellator, simultaneously running the Heavyweight and Light Heavyweight divisions. His stock has dropped since being knocked out by Vadim Nemkov and Corey Anderson down at Light Heavyweight, learning there are in fact levels to this. Saturday night we will see if he is still the king of the Heavyweights at Bellator, or if the new generation has surpassed him there as well.

(6) Benson Henderson (28-11) vs (7) Islam Mamedov (20-1-1)

Wether you know him from his jaw dropping war with Anthony Pettis, or just from being the guy that fights with a toothpick in his mouth. You cannot call yourself a fan of MMA and not know Benson Henderson. Making his pro debut all the way back in 2006, Saturday’s fight will be the 40th in Bendo’s illustrious career. With all that being said, it cannot be ignored that Henderson is on a three fight losing streak and going up against a very tough stylistic matchup in Islam Mamedov. Undefeated in his time with the World Serues of Fighting and the Professionals Fighters League, Mamedov made his Bellator debut on the Pitbull vs McKee undercard, winning a split decision over fan favorite and number two ranked lightweight, Brent Primus. Primus’ next fight would be against none other than Benson Henderson, where Primus would dominate his way to a (30-27, 29-28, 30-27) Unanimous Decision victory. Mamedov closes as a -400 betting favorite over Henderson

Henry Corrales (19-6) vs Aiden Lee (10-5)

Henry Corrales has fought the who’s who of Bellator’s featherweight division, sharing the cage with Daniel Straus, Emmanuel Sanchez, Patricio Pitbull, Juan Archuleta, Aaron Pico, and more. While he’s undeniably inconsistent, Corrales is also up there with Michael Venom Page for most exciting fighters to watch in the promotion. Aiden Lee just 2-3 in his five fights with Bellator has a lot to prove, and could do it with a big win over Henry Corrales. Betting odds are practically even on this and both fighters really need a win, this matchup has all the potential for a Fight of the Night.

Sabah Homasi (15-10) vs Jaleel Willis (15-3)

After going 0-3 with the UFC, Sabah Homasi has revived his MMA career at Bellator winning his first four fights with the promotion, two by knockout. Homasi would take a big step up in competition in 2021 following the big win streak, coming up short against both Paul Daley and Andrey Koreshkov. Jaleel Willis, just three fights into his Bellator career will undoubtedly be a step down in competition from Daly and Koreshkov. Both strikers, expect this fight to take place on the feet and open up the main card with a bang.

Prelims:

  • Darrion Caldwell (15-4) vs Enrique Barzola (16-5-2)
  • Saad Awad (24-13-1) vs Chris Gonzalez (6-1)
  • Dalton Rosta (5-0) vs Duane Johnson (6-2)
  • Sullivan Cauley (2-0) vs Ben Parrish (4-1)
  • Lucas Brennan (5-0) vs Benjamin Lugo (5-4)
  • Nikita Mikhailov (8-1) Blaine Shutt (8-5)
