From a safety to a fake punt touchdown, this game had quite literally everything. While it was tight from start to finish, the Seattle Seahawks were able to escape Lumen Field with a 30-23 victory over the San Francisco 49ers.

The game had a combined six turnovers, a botched extra point, five sacks, and a final goal line stand. Two of the six turnovers were at the opposing teams one yard line, just inches away from being seven points.

Russell Wilson started the game slow with multiple three-and-outs, however he seemed to regain rhythm and his usual poise as the quarters passed. He finished the game with 30 completions on 37 attempts, two touchdowns, and one interception. It is worth noting that the interception came off a dropped pass by tight end Gerald Everett.

On the other side of the ball, 49ers tight end George Kittle had a monster game against Seattle. Finishing with nine catches for 181 yards and two touchdowns, Kittle was undoubtedly the star of the game for San Francisco.

The Seattle defense stepped up late despite the loss of Jamal Adams to a shoulder injury to start the second half. On the final drive of the game, Jimmy Garoppolo led the 49ers from their own one yard line to the Seattle three yard line. However, after two runs for minimal gain and an incomplete pass, the Niners stared at a fourth and goal from the three yard line. The final play’s hero, Carlos Dunlap, was able to get a hand on the ball and deflect the pass before reaching the intended target.

Russell Wilson and the Seahawks will move to a 4-8 record as they suit up for a final push at the playoffs and prepare to face the Houston Texans next Sunday. The 49ers will move to 6-6, and travel to Cincinnati to face Joe Burrow and the Bengals.
