- Ziaire Williams – Wing – Stanford
There are very few prospects in this draft more talented than Ziaire Williams. Not many players are 6’10 with off the dribble shooting, secondary passing chops, and help side rim protection ability. But, at his best, that’s why Ziaire can be. He’s got extremely high upside as a shot-maker and shooter plus he’s got elite ancillary skills for a wing. However, because of his skinny frame and his inconsistent scoring efficiency, he may not be able to come in and contribute right away. As I’ve stated though, Oklahoma City has no timeline. He’s got many years to try to work and fit his weaknesses. He’s cut from the same cloth as guys like Brandon Ingram and Paul George. Thanks to his talent as a shot-maker, passer, and defender, he could be a star level player with the proper amount of development.
