Welcome to a new series of articles where the NBA Draft guys here at TWSN (Thomas Stapleton, Aidan Maher, Will Locklin) will be making team specific big boards for every NBA team prior to the draft. Each article will have our top 5-10 prospects for a team along with scouting reports for those players and an explanation of why they’d be a good fit. Today’s team of focus will be the Oklahoma City Thunder who hold the sixth, 16th, 18th, 34th, 36th, and 55th pick in the 2021 NBA Draft.

  1. Moses Moody – Wing – Arkansas

While Moses Moody may not be at the top of OKC’s actual draft board, he makes the most sense for this team picking at the number six spot. Oklahoma City has a plethora of wing players, but most of them are yet to show consistent offensive production. Lu Dort, Darius Bazley, and Sviatoslav Myhaiulliuk have all shown flashes of scoring, but nothing consistent yet. Moody has all the makings of a lethal off-ball scoring wing who could potentially handle on-ball creation reps down the line. He’s a silky smooth shooter with tough shot-making ability from mid-range, and possibly some low-hanging fruit as a passer once he grows more comfortable as a decision-maker. Him and Dort can be lethal on the defensive side of the ball as well. Surrounding Shai Gilgeous-Alexander with the right complimentary pieces should be Sam Presti’s ultimate goal this offseason.
