TWSN Fantasy Football Advice: Week 12

Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, looking forward to some great food, great football (hopefully) and family. We find ourselves a few weeks away from the Fantasy playoffs and chugging along collecting W’s. Here are a few matchups in Week 12 that I like for DFS or if you have these guys in your lineup your good..!

INDIANAPOLIS COLT WR MICHAEL PITTMAN is making up for missing a few games to start the year, and he is getting into a groove. The last 3 weeks Pittman has led all Indy WR’s in targets (18) and has 100 yards or a TD in consecutive games. Philip Rivers has thrown for 300 yards or 3 TD’s in back to back weeks, combined with Tennessee’s defense allowing the 4th most FPG to WR’s sets up well for the 2nd round draft choice from USC. Usually when two teams hit an Over in their 1st meeting of the year I don’t like to call for another Over, however, both of these teams are in the playoff hunt & run a lot of plays in a fast paced offense I like this game to hit the over again in Week 12

LOS ANGELES CHARGER QB JUSTIN HERBERT is here! With the unfortunate injury to fellow Rookie QB Joe Burrow, all eyes will be on Herbert the rest of the way as the leading candidate for Rookie of the Year. Herbert has finished as a top 10 QB in 5 straight games in 2020 & despite missing Week 1 ranks as QB7 on the year with 22 TD’s & 6 Int. In the aforementioned 5 game stretch, Herbert has thrown for 300 yards or 3 TD’s in 3 of those games and facing a defense that has allowed 32, 44 and 21 points in their last 3 games. Speaking of defenses, the LA Chargers defense hasn’t been stopping many people either, allowing 31,31,29 & 28 points in their last 4, so Herbert should have to continue throwing the ball 40 times right into another Top 10 performance this week

(This one is for my man Shaun Chornobroff) NEW YORK GIANT RB WAYNE GALLMAN is a part of the reason the 3-7 NY Giants find themselves in a division race. Gallman has provided some stability to the RB position after losing Saquon Barkley in Week 2 and then losing FA signing Devonta Freeman. Over the last 4 weeks Gallman has scored at least 13 FP and scored a TD each game, and has received 7/9 red-zone carries for the team. The Giants as a 5.5 road favorite should be in position to run the ball which bodes well for Gallman, not to mention the 147 yards per game Cincinnati has been giving up to opposing RB’s. Look for the Giants who are well coached, and play hard from whistle to whistle to continue their division run & Gallman to be again a reason why.

LAS VEGAS RB JOSH JACOBS is on a nice little run, helping keep the Raiders engaged in a playoff race. The last 4 weeks Jacobs has either 100 rush yards or has scored a TD. Jacobs has been a key part to the Raider offense that ranks top 10 in points per game. In week 12 Jacobs gets to take on the Falcons Defense that has surrendered 168, 103, and 147 yards on the ground the last 3 games and 5 TD’s. The Raiders are a 3 point favorite on the road so the game script should allow Jacobs some touches and an opportunity to stack up the yards.
