Atlanta Falcons vs Green Bay Packers: OVER/56.5
The Atlanta Falcons will have their three headed monster at WR ready to play tonight. Julio Jones, Calvin Ridley, and Russell Gage have all been cleared to play, so Matt Ryan will have a plethora of targets to throw to tonight. The Falcons have scored at least 25 points in each of their three games and I would not be surprised if they scored 30 tonight in a losing effort. Davante Adams has been ruled out for tonight, but the Packers scored 37 points without him last week, so this will not be a problem. Green Bay averages a league high 40.7 points per game, while the Falcons average 30 points. I expect Aaron Rodgers and the Packers to get ahead early, which will allow the Falcons to inflate the score in garbage time.
New York Yankees vs Tampa Bay Rays: Gerrit Cole OVER/9.5Ks
9.5 is an absurdly high total for strikeouts, but Gerrit Cole is fully capable of double digit strikeouts. Cole struck out 13 batters against the Indians in game 1 of their Wild Card matchup, and he struck out 10 batters in both of his outings against the Rays this year with one of those starts lasting less than 5 innings. Tampa Bay also struck out a league high 608 times during the regular season, so this is a team that strikes out at a high rate. Gerrit Cole should go at least 7 innings tonight, so he will have an ample amount of time to rack up strikeouts.
