Week 2 in the 2020 National Football League season will be known as Black Sunday and man did many of us Fantasy Football owners feel the wrath of the injury bug. Let’s hope that this onslaught of injuries was only an anomaly; work the waiver wire to find replacements and keep it moving. Here are some juicy matchups that can help you get that W in Week 3

CINCINATTI BENGALS WR TYLER BOYD is in for a nice Fantasy week. The 0-2 Bengals go to Philadelphia to take on the 0-2 Eagles. The Bengals are coming off a Thursday Night Football loss to division rival Cleveland, but a game in which they have a lot to build on. #1 Overall Pick Joe Burrow unleashed the ball 61 times, completing 37/61 w/ 3 TDs & 0 Int and is growing up very quickly in the National Football League.

This week the Bengals are 6 point dogs and might need Burrow to chuck it another 50+ times to get back on track with an upset win here. The matchup I like in this game is Tyler Boyd vs Nickell Roby Coleman. With Darius Slay expected to shadow AJ Green, Boyd should have a field day with Roby Coleman who has allowed the 9th most Fantasy Points per snap. The Eagles D has allowed 27 & 37 points against so far in 2020 and in a game where they could be trailing, Boyd is a near lock #1 Fantasy WR in Week 3

PHILADELPHIA EAGLES RB MILES SANDERS is back baby! Those who drafted Miles Sanders in the 1st round were rewarded last week with 130 total yards from scrimmage, 3 receptions for 36 yards and 1 TD. This week Sanders and the Eagles are 6 point favorites hosting the Cincinnati Bengals who are giving up the 3rd most Fantasy Points to RBs. Last week Cincy’s D was gashed for 240 yards & 4 TDs between Nick Chubb & Kareem Hunt so I like Sanders to get in the box at least once this week. Adding a positive game script for Philly should give Sanders 20+ touches as he continues his journey back into the hearts of fantasy owners everywhere.

TENNESEE TITANS TE JONNU SMITH is coming off a game in which he eclipsed his career high in yards (84) and his first 2 touchdown game of his 3 year career. In week 3 Smith & the Titans take on the Minnesota Defense that has been downright disappointing so far in 2020. They have been missing DE Danielle Hunter who started the season on IR and newly acquired DE Yannick Ngakoue is off to a bit of a slow start with 1 Sack & 1 Forced Fumble in 2 games. Throw in the growing pains of a young secondary & Jonnu Smith may be on his way to yet another career day. In week 2 Minnesota allowed 3rd year TE Mo Allie-Cox to go off for 131 yards on 7 receptions and it looks like Tennessee will be without WR AJ Brown sending targets galore Jonnu’s way.

DALLAS COWBOYS WR CEEDEE LAMB has officially put the league on notice! After leading the team with 7/106 in a wild Week 2 come from behind win vs the Atlanta Falcons, Lamb now leads all rookie WRs in targets, yards, receptions & yards per game. The Cowboys head to Seattle to play a red hot Seahawk team led by early MVP candidate Russell Wilson.

With that said, the Seahawks’ D has some room for improvement, after 2 games Seattle’s D has allowed the most yards per game at 485 and welcome red hot QB himself Dak Prescott to town. Lamb lined up in the slot for Dallas on every single snap last week & things are looking even better in Week 3 vs a Seattle Secondary that has allowed an absurd 208 yards & almost 35 fantasy points per game to opposing slot receivers. With an over/under in this game set at 56 look for each QB to continue their MVP candidacies.
