QB) Drew Brees- Everyone seems to be infatuated with Kirk Cousins as the hot commodity. I think we are forgetting Drew Brees is an unrestricted free agent and until he re-signs with New Orleans he’s my top quarterback. That being said the chances of GM Mickey Loomis allowing the future hall of famer to test the free agency waters is highly unlikely.
Projected landing spot- New Orleans Saints
2.RB) Leveon Bell- The never ending saga of Leveon Bell and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Arguably the best running back in the NFL somehow still is unsigned. I have a hard time believing both sides won’t come to a resolution by the start of the new league year. I think Bell plays the 2018 season on the franchise tag.
Projected landing Spot – Pittsburgh Steelers
3.QB) Kirk Cousin- This is long overdue! Kirk Cousin and his soon to be former team the Washington Redskins are finally headed for a split which seems like forever and a decade in the making. Cousin’s is expected to draw a ton of interest in the open market. Among the suitors are Broncos, Browns, Cardinals , Jets and Vikings. It’ll be extremely difficult to envision a scenario in which Cousin’s turn down a roster as talented and accomplished as the Vikes.
Projected landing spot- Minnesota Vikings
4. G) Andrew Norwell – Projected to be the best offensive lineman hitting the open market Norwell will almost certainly command a huge payday come March 14th. The Carolina Panthers seem to have hit a wall when it comes to negotiating a long term deal with Norwell, This makes the likelihood of him leaving for greener pastures all but a given. Gang Green has the cap space and even more so the need. The Jets are slated to take a QB with the 6th overall pick which makes this signing a must!
Projected landing Spot- New York Jets
5. DE) Ezekiel Ansah- Since entering the league back in 2013 the former 5th overall pick has become an offensive coordinators nightmare. If you discount his injury riddled 2016 season Ansah has consistently wrecked havoc in opposing offenses backfield. He will enter into the open market with having tallied 44 sacks! Whichever team lands Ansah he will be an instant upgrade for the defense. Baltimore’s defense started 2017 season off very impressive but flamed out at the tail end this is a signing that can reignite Baltimore’s aging defense.
Projected landing spot – Baltimore Ravens
