Portland Trail Blazers vs Los Angeles Lakers (-13)
With Damian Lillard ruled out for the series, the Lakers will easily handle the Trail Blazers. Lillard is Portland’s leading scorer and assist getter, so he will be desperately missed in the line-up. The only scoring options with Lillard out are Carmelo Anthony and C.J. McCollum, and the two of them will not be enough to even keep this game close. The Lakers have won two out of the four games in the series by 20+ points, and I expect this game to be another blowout.
Seattle Mariners vs Los Angeles Angels: Dylan Bundy OVER/6.5 Ks
Dylan Bundy has emerged as the ace of the Los Angeles Angels with a 2.58 ERA, 0.89 WHIP, and 44 Ks in 38.1 IP. Bundy has faced the Mariners two times already this year, and he struck out 8 Seattle batters in the first match-up and 10 in the second. The Mariners strike out 9 times per game on average, so I expect Bundy to easily strike out at least 7 batters tonight. With the trade deadline on Monday, this will be Bundy’s last start to try and impress playoff contending teams, which should give him extra motivation.
