Detroit Lions vs Tennessee Titans: UNDER/53.5
I expect a one sided game in this matchup. The Lions are one of the worst teams at stopping the run as they allow 132.8 rushing yards per game. It is important to note that Quarterback Matthew Stafford will suit up for Detroit even though he is dealing with torn rib cartilage and a right thumb injury. This will limit Detroit’s offense and the Titans will not be able to score 50 points on their own.
Kansas City Chiefs (-3) vs New Orleans Saints
Both the Saints and the Chiefs do not allow many points on defense. Kansas City gives up a lot of yards, but they keep their opponents off the scoreboard. New Orleans has a stout defense against the pass, but they have not faced an offense like the Chiefs yet. I have gone on record saying this Kansas City team has the greatest offense ever assembled. They will have their way in this game and should win by a score of 31-24. Drew Brees does return for this game, but he may not be 100%.
Houston Texans vs Indianapolis Colts: Jonathan Taylor OVER/72.5 Rushing Yards
The Texans have the second worst run defense in the league as they allow 152.3 rushing yards per game. Two weeks ago Jonathan Taylor ran for 91 yards on 13 carries against the Texans. In two of the past three weeks Taylor has also carried the ball 20+ times. I expect another big game from him against Houston.
