Week 10 baby is here! Only 4 more weeks until most Fantasy Football Leagues playoffs start and now is the time that we start to separate the Men (or Women) from the Boys (or Girls). We have to continue making good Add/Drops and Start/Sit decisions to eliminate any chance of letting a W slip away, every point counts! Let’s take a closer look here at some very strong matchup based plays in Week 10, good luck & Go get em…!!!
CLEVELAND BROWN RB NICK CHUBB is back from an injury and ready to help his 5-3 Browns continue that Playoff Push. Chubb and the Browns host the 2 win Houston Texans this week and as a 4 point home favorite & the matchup sets up nice for Chubb. In the first 3 weeks of 2020 before getting hurt in the 1st quarter of Week 4, it’s safe to say that the 2nd round pick in the 2018 Draft was feelin’ it, having had two 100 yard games both with two TD’s. The Texans have allowed 11 TD’s to Running Backs this year and four 100 yard games, so it’s not a stretch to see Chubb pick right up where he left off w/ 100 yards & 2 TD. Look for the Browns to expose the Houston Rush D which ranks last in Yards per Carry to Fantasy Backs in addition to Fantasy Points per game to RBs.
PHILADELPHIA EAGLE TE DALLAS GOEDERT is another player back from injury ready to help his team with a playoff push. Goedert returned in Week 8 after missing 4 games with a foot injury and played in most of the team’s snaps vs the Cowboys, running routes on 75% of Carson Wentz dropbacks. So after easing Goedert back in, then having the bye to all get on the same page, I think the Eagles will come out as aggressive as possible in Week 10 vs divisional rival NY and move the ball looking to maintain that 1st place lead in the NFC East. The Giants have not been terrible vs TE’s this year, but have allowed 80+ yards OR a TD to TE’s in 3 of their last 4 games. I like Goedert to be very involved, make his presence known & own a TE1 spot this week.
LA RAM WR’S COOPER KUPP & ROBERT WOODS should be licking their chops at this week’s matchup as the LA Rams look to keep pace with their Week 10 opponent the NFC West leading Seattle Seahawks. We all know when you go against the Seahawks you face off against MVP Candidate Russell Wilson and that potent offense. However, you also get the Seahawk Defense that has been absolutely historic thus far allowing, get ready:
-The most Fantasy Points to QB’s & WR’s
-Have allowed more than 395 Passing yards 4X this year
-Never allowed fewer than 315 passing yards as a road team
-Given up 13 TD’s to WR’s and NINE 100 yard efforts
Kupp & Woods are responsible for almost 50% of Jared Goff target share, so you do the math and plug in the numbers above with a game script that favors a lot of pass attempts. Fire up your Ram WR’s and count the points….
MIAMI DOLPHIN WR DEVANTE PARKER is one of the happiest Miami Dolphins since the emergence of Rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa. No disrespect to Ryan Fitzpatrick but Tua definitely has a swagger if you will to his style of play. His designed rollouts allowing him to throw in space combined with his natural ability to elude pressure & pinpoint accuracy gives Parker the opportunity to get separation and continue making plays. The Phins are sitting at 5-3 and in a very good position to, if not make a run at the AFC East, surely be in the conversation for the newly added 7th playoff spot. They must show consistency on Defense, as they are a very well coached team and they seemed to be hitting another gear in the 2nd half of 2020. The Chargers are a little short handed on Defense after trading one of their top cover corners in Desmond King, and are still without Chris Harris Jr, Derwin James & Joey Bosa.
