Adam Schefter is reporting that the New York Jets have traded All-Pro Safety Jamal Adams to the Seattle Seahawks. Adams made it publicly known that he wanted a trade, and the Jets were able to find a suitor.
Seattle gave up a first and third round pick in 2021, a first round pick in 2022, and S Bradley McDougald in exchange for Jamal Adams and a 2022 fourth round pick.
Per Albert Breer, Seattle has not agreed to a contract extension with Adams as of yet, so the All-Pro safety will play out the last two years of his rookie contract for the time being. Adams will earn $13.45 million over the next two years.
