The Cincinnati Bengals have declined to pickup all pro defensive back Adam pacman Jones player option he was due to make$5-million in 2018. Jones has been with the club since 2010 and has been a prominent fixture in the secondary helping lead the team to 5 playoff appearances. Adam Jones was selected to his first pro bowl in 2015, with a history of off the field issues it’ll be interesting to see if a team is willing to sign the aging vet who’s currently 34 years old.
The Bengals have said they are willing to bring the all pro back at a reduced rate and limited role. Sources have confirmed the defensive back will however decide to test his market via free agency.
Adam Jones was the first defensive player drafted, taken sixth overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2005 NFL Draft
